Organization
equals efficiency and efficiency equals cost savings. One of the most
frequent questions we receive from marketing managers is - "How do I
organize my images so that I can find what I need when I need it?"

It's a common problem. You have in your mind's eye
the exact type of image that will fit perfectly in a particular spot in your
new brochure or the blog post you're creating, but you end up wasting an
unbelievable amount of time scanning through images trying to find it. Anyone
who deals with marketing and promotional layouts of any kind has dealt with
this frustrating scenario. As a photographer with literally millions of images,
so have I. But not anymore!
I
decided we needed to commit the time to developing a system to organize
my images so that we could always find just the image we wanted in a
very short amount of time. And, yes, it took a large investment of our
own time
to come up with an organizational system that fits with most any search
scenario, but we did it. No more wasting time scanning through dozens or
hundreds of photography images. A few quick entries into our database
search
and the search is narrowed down to a limited few that match what we're
looking
for.
Just like most companies, I’m not the only one who needs access to those
images. Creating a system that would make sense to others and be readily
accessible to others was also key. We also wanted it to be user friendly for
new employees to keep training time down to a minimum. Efficient, easy and
accessible – those were our three main criteria for the project. We’re excited
to say that we achieved all three!
As our clients continued to ask the question – “How can I organize my
images?” – we quickly realized that our catalog for photos would work for them
as well. So, we began offering our visual asset management system as a service
to our clients. Their images are securely stored on the Cloud for easy access
from any location. The images are each carefully cataloged according to our
exclusive organization system. Then the client is provided the secure access
codes and easy to follow directions for searching their custom visual library.
Could you develop an organized and searchable visual library yourself?
Of course you could, so, could many of our clients. Why don’t they? Time! We’ve
already invested the time and research into creating what we believe is the
very best virtual asset management system there is. Why start from scratch?
We enjoy hearing the enthusiasm in the voices of marketing managers as
they first begin accessing and utilizing the system. It makes their jobs so
much easier!
If you’d like to hear how our services can benefit your organization,
contact us. We’d be happy to tell you about this great system we developed to
organize my images. I know it could work for you too!
